On This Page 3. Last Day of School - 22 June 1. First Day- While I was in New York in 2002, I attending The Cathedral School until the Summer Holidays. I started on the 7th of May. The school opened in 1949. Below: This picture show my teachers and the girls in my Year 3 class. In the front row is Antonia, Serena, me, Danie, and Becky. In the back row is my teacher Miss Miller and Miss Panagakos is the Principal of the school. Right: This is a beautiful stained glass window at the school

A History About The Cathedral SchoolFirst established back in 1933 as an afternoon Greek-Language School, The Cathedral School emerged as a Hellenic-American day-school in 1949, when the Cathedral Board of Trustees realized that in order to complement the education of children, while promoting and fostering Hellenic studies, a day school was needed. |
